So today I will be dropping this topic. How to had a favicon to a blog, if you don't know what a favicon is it stand for favorite icon, this icon is used to represent your blog and what it
describe just like Lookedinblog where before the url on the address bar you will see an eye, if you see this you don't need to think twice because the eye can also represent the name of the blog.
Why should I add favicon to my blog?
Adding favicon to your blog make it looked beautiful and it will stand out, this also show that you know what you are doing.
Favicon can stand as a representation to your blog name.
Now how do you add a favicon to your blog?
Adding favicon to a blog used to be very difficult because of the square size especially getting the right square size can be a lot work but today thanks to some sites that now offer favicon generation and this is one of the site we are going to use to generate our favicon.

On your laptop or device click this favicon generator a page will open up click on import image see image below
Now it will display an open for for you to choose a file from your system, click and select the image you want to use as your favicon and click on shrink to square icon then click on upload

your favicon is ready all you have to do now is to download your favicon to your system, but make sure you know the directory that you downloaded the favicon because we will need it soon.
It is time to upload your favicon to your blog, don't worry it is quite easy because i am going to guide you through every step.
first go to your blogger dashboard by typing or clicking blogger.com then click on layout then favicon

click on choose a file, then click on the directory which you downloaded the favicon then select and upload it immediately, here you will see that your favicon has been uploaded successfully,

now it is time to update your favicon to start show before your address bar, most favicon don't display immediately so you have to update it to begin to display, all you have to do is to go to your browser and type in www.[your blog url.favicon.ico] then hit enter,refresh your page to see your favicon.
